I beam identification

Hello everyone, I have a 79 f100 and I believe the I beams were installed incorrectly. My question is, does the D8TA-8-CA go on the driver's side or passenger side.

The hole that the kingpin drops through should lean towards the rear of the truck.

The driver side tire is leaning out from the top and is wearing very quickly. I guess the I beam could be bent?

casting D8TA-8-CA should be on the RH (passenger) and the LH (driver) should be D8TA-9-CA

Welcome to FTE

RIGHT SIDE // Left Side is D8TA-9-CA .. However, these I-Beams were used on 1975/79 F250 Regular Cabs with Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings of 6200 & 6900 lbs.

Someone needed to replace one or both of these I-Beams, went to a junk yard and didn't know there were different types.

1975/79 F100/150 I-Beams are marked: D5TA-8-FB or GA Right & D5TA-9-FB or GA Left
