Is there a way to check if the vacuum hoses & or actuators on the dash of my '78 f250 are leaking/working?
Since I have not yet had the truck running, but have the dash all apart I wanted to see if there is any problems with this system before I put it all back in the dash.
I did check each actuator at the heater housing to see if they hold vacuum & each of these three seem to hold vacuum ok.
Next dumb question is: do I need a vacuum reservoir? I have had the 460 rebuilt in a local machine shop & had the entire from end clip off. There is a black gallon can which was under the drivers side front fender if I remember correctly.
Is that the vacuum reservoir? Thank you for your patience with my inane questions!
