Post Grounding issue

Hello, I'm having a ground issue on my 1986 F250. I jas a Holley sniper, and it is not getting any ground to the fuel pump, not even after I directly grounded the pump. At this point, I am at a total loss.

What motor dose the truck have?
How do you know it is a ground issue and not a power issue?

Me thinks power issue if you ran a "ground directly to the pump".
or it was not a vary good ground.
Is the ground back to the battery or to the frame?
If to the frame, is the battery ground also going to the frame or just to the motor?

BTW my 81 F100 with a 300 six the factory ground goes from battery to frame to top starter bolt.
There is also a 10 ga wire from the motor to the firewall to ground the cab.

Use your multimeter and put a test lead on the ground connection at the fuel pump, and a test lead on the negative battery post. You should measure continuity between the 2. I like to turn ON the tone on my multimeter when I do this. Keep us posted.
