3G alternator harness
Regulator I got is the F5RU-10316-AA also sold under the GR819 number which was used on 1995 - 2000 Ford and 1995 - 2002 Mercury vehicles from what I could find out. I found after hours of searching it uses the Stanard Motor Products S745 pigtail that uses a wire clip you squeeze similar to fuel injector connectors.
I tried to find a NOS F4ZU-10316-AC regulator also sold under the GR814 number which uses the same connector that you get with the various harness kits out there for conversions. I couldn't find anything NOS Motorcraft online and I could just wait and try to find one but the GR819 seems to be more plentiful and I can buy more at $12 - $15 a pop and stock up on them for future use.
My question how ever is, has anyone seen a pre made harness for the 3G alternator that uses the newer style connector?
Or is my only option to buy the S745 terminal and source a stator terminal and make my own with crimps/solder joints?
I looked online for a few hours last night and could not find anything on a premade harness that comes with the stator terminal already made up. The battery sense terminal I don't need made up, I don't want to run it off the back of the alternator but wanted to run it closer to the starter solenoid, I just am not crazy about having to make a splice in such a short run of wire from the stator terminal to the regulator connector, I havent found a stator terminal that just came with the crimp connector so I can make it myself they all are a pig tail that you butt splice or solder together.
