ignition
When I put the key in to start it won't turn at all. Seems to be locked. I have jiggled, wiggled, sworn at it, pleaded all to no avail. What next ? Manual trans no tilt column.

try turning the steering wheel side to side......hard. if the power steering is "loaded" when the engine is shut off and key removed, the load on the steering wheel will prevent the key cylinder from turning
