I figured I post up and show here the freon leaking from this ac hose
I'm lining it up, I'll have to check the service manual it looks like an easy repair.
if your in a position where your working on your f150 I'd recommend buying a copy of the service manual on eBay too.
That is the manifold assembly with both high side (discharge) and low side (suction) hoses
You need to have the freon sucked out by a recycler machine or risk a fine from big brother the EPA
Tell them it all leaked out
I had the refrigerant recovered and put this new hose in my truck. All went well and had a recharge recently. is it normal for the ac high pressure line to hiss for 30 seconds after shutting the truck off while ac is still on?
theres no more leaking, the shop pulled a vacuum and said it was fine before recharging it.
it maybe a noisy just a noisy system? Are other 03 f150 owners hearing a hissing noise after turning off their truck with the ac on?
