I'm looking for some useful bed rails, as Ford wasn't nice enough to give us any more than 4 locations for tie downs. Everything that I have found seems to be for styling purposes, as chrome tubes aren't going to do much good to tie loads down. The only rails I have found that have more than one spot for a tie down look too flimsy to use with any type of heavy load(see picture in link below). They look very useful otherwise. Does anyone know where I can get something similar, but heavy duty? Or has anyone made their own rails>
its fairly simple to make ur own if u got a buddy who welds and cuts . i had a buddy do a set for my friends truck . he used diamond plate and to secure it to the bed he used the 4 corner holes .
I have some dimond plate rails. They do pretty good, I got them from a local shop that went under a while back. Check EBAY though, I've seen several on there.
