Maintenance week...

Oil and filter change, fuel filters, and air filter, 89,500 miles and the change oil soon message showing.

Which of you super nice people wants to come do this job for me out of the goodness of your heart???

Heck, I'll even throw in the job of replacing the ABS speed sensor on my Lincoln!

How could anyone turn this deal down?

I'll even turn the garden hose on so there will be a nice cool drink of water for when the job is done!

I have to do fuel filters this week also, not my favorite job. I swapped the differential fluid last weekend with a new rear diff cover. Fuel filters, air filter and I may have to do an oil change before an upcoming 2.5k mile trip.

No pipes with any cracks in them, don't need any leaks.

Just did that Saturday. Day in between the storms, Driveway was dry and it was in the high 50s. My dash was showing my oil as having 20% left. Checked my log book and it was over 8,000 miles since last oil change. So I decided to use Saturday to this before all the storms come next week.

Punched a hole in oil filter and while it drained, I changed the air filter. Opened up the oil pan and while it drained, I started draining the lower fuel filter and put the new Oil filter on. Put the bolt back in the oil pan and dumped in first gallon of fresh oil and while it drained, I swapped out the fuel filter. Started the second jug of oil and while it dripped, I undid the hoses on the upper fuel filter. Third gallon jug of oil while I swapped out the upper fuel filter. Topped of oil and picked everything, started the engine and checked everything for leaks or drips. All good. Drove up to auto parts store and dumped my old oil and drove home. Checked for leaks again. Everything still good. Maybe 45 minutes to do the entire job. Oh and while I was at the Auto Parts bought new windshield wipers and put those one. I had noticed a slight tear in one blade Friday afternoon.

I do the fuel and air filters every other oil change. So every 17,000 to 18,000 miles

You're much too organized for me!
I do fuel filters according to the manual, every 30K, this set will be third change.
Do oil changes when the message pops, just under 10K every time so far.
Air filter is ORIGINAL, will be first change, but have cleaned it out before and re-installed it, have never had a filter restriction message pop.

All I need now is to just get my behind motivated to get it done.
Worn out right now from my latest trip, over 2400 miles driven since last Friday.

My big maintenance endeavor on the 2018 gasser has stretched past the 1 week mark... slowly plugging along in between work, side business, and prepping for the baby that is due any day now... oil/filter, transfer case oil, rear diff oil are done. Spark plugs, trans fluid and filter, coolant, and a few other odds and ends are just sitting in the garage waiting for me to get to them...

I could get you a kite and put you up in the garage with a old copy of Penthouse magazine, close enough?

Mine won't fit in the garage, so rainy day maintenance is out.
