Alignment
I recently went down into a large grass median between lanes on a 4 lane highway due to black ice. It was not terribly steep so i elected to turn down into it at 90 degrees rather than risk it flipping. The bottom was narrow and when I hit it, it was a nasty hit. It ripped off the front valance and license plate bracket. I put it in 4WD and drove out of what basically was a wide ditch. I got on the highway and it tracked straight down the road. However, the steering wheel was rotated about 10 degrees to the right. So far, the body shop estimate lists 4WD alignment for that issue. I was wondering what could have been damaged to make a change such as that. Any ideas?

just a SWAG,
but I think the two front wheels were spread apart, e.g. Toed Out.
and if the Drag Link threads did not strip ( which mine were when I bought the truck ), then something is bent.
Ergo,
the truck needs to have an alignment
