First ford

Hello everyone, I just bought my first ford a 67 cs with 95k original miles, I am looking forward to working on it and reading what everyone has done to there

Welcome to FTE. That's a cool looking truck. Those mirrors go for stupid money on e bay. And the Camper Special emblems are rare as hen's teeth. If you ever see a set in a junkyard buy them. The only downside to owning a 1967 F-100,F-250 or a F-350. They have a lot of one year only parts and some are not reproduced. Keep us updated with pictures on what you are doing/fixing on your truck.

Thanks! I think it’s just the clear coating flaking off, it’s from Nevada hot sun

That means someone repainted it or clear coated over it. My 70 f250 still has the original paint on it but its badly oxidized. I usually wash it lightly with a sponge and wax it. The truck looks good and I have those same big azz mirrors. What is the plan for it?
