Question flooding when warm

My 1969 f-100, 360, 2bbl almost always floods when warmed up. It starts great when cold. Any general ideas?

Thanks, Joe

(p.s. Same truck with questionable vacuum advance)

Generally I would suggest to high float, or a float that is too heavy because of being gas soaked. Just a thought not knowing type of carb or model.

Is the carb getting real hot? It could be boiling the fuel. You might try lowering the float level just a little bit.

What does "high float" mean? Yes, the carb does get pretty hot. Maybe not enough to boil? I've been told in the past that a thicker spacer under the carb might help keep it cooler, but I,m not sure. I'll look at the float sometime. It,s an autolite 2100 2bbl.

Thanks for answering

Joe
