I really like those wheels on the '23 Sport Appearance Package. The 'Lego Gear' wheels on the '23 BAP are a big 'No Go' in my opinion.
The '23's don't look as bad to me now that I'm seeing more pictures. I see on Facebook that delivery to actual customers are happening! Wow. I wonder if Ford will build '24 models this fall, or push the '23's to end of the year?

I don't know, but if my 23 Tremor isn't here when the 24 order banks open, I'll be ordering a 24 as well.
The gray headliner with black interior doesn’t bother me much. Some of you guys are picky about minor stuff.
I could see if it was some oddly mismatched combination but it’s not.
There's nothing picky about what i choose in a 108,000$ Canadian vehicle. I pick the outside color and trim level, engine, options, as well as the interior color because that's what i want.

So now what, what are you going to buy instead if gray headliner is so terrible? Is the Platinum black? Or go completely different and drop $$$ on a Limited?
Hard to tell from the online configurator, but Baja interior might have a darker headliner. That might limit other wants of yours though.

No Limited for me since they come with the glass roof, which i don't want. Had a conversation with my dealer this past Monday. Told him i don't want the 2023 Plat Tremor i had ordered beginning of February if it'll have a light Gray headliner but not to cancel just yet till we know for sure.He said he'll call the ford rep to find out for sure. Rep didn't know and gave him the phone number of somebody at the Plant who would know. He called this guy an hour ago and he was told that Platiums will have black headliners! Not sure about KR and Limited since he didn't ask about them. . Sounds like all J1's have the Gray ABC posts with headliner. I'm happy now.

So it sounds like those who want black pillars and headliner will have to skip the Lariat (with and without BAP) trim and move to a Platinum. That could be an issue for some that don't want Platinum, either for cost or exterior details. Yeah, Limited usually has some unique color scheme, most likely not black and I'm with you on that glass roof, I wouldn't want it.

Things might change for J2 next month and all trim levels below Plats might have the option for a black headliner. I don't know that. Anybody hating the light Gray headliner should have their dealer check into it.

The videos of the 2023 Platinums from months ago showed black headliners and pillars, not sure if they ever had or were going to have gray in them. Where did the idea come from that 2023 Platinums were coming with gray headliners?
It's the Lariat trim that has been shown to have gray for 2023. I doubt that will change. Ford used gray in Lariats with black seats 2017-2021, so I wouldn't expect that to be a job 1 only thing.

Just from what i read and pictures i seen, including the video you posted above. Also what post #8 said. And most of all, on page 4 of the order guide (right side, half way down the page) under Headliner: colour coordinated, which indicates Gray to me. It could also mean black i suppose if one wants to split hairs, in which case it would say Black i gather...

The video I posted was of a Lariat with black package, since that's what I thought the thread was about. Post #8 I can't answer for, but I assumed he was also referring to Lariat's with black interior (seats). As far as I know, 17-present Platinums have always used the dark pillars and headliner (with black seats), even when the Lariats had light gray (17-21). But that doesn't mean they can't or won't change.
I understand the concern, just wasn't clear on what sparked it.
Hoping this would change soon. I have a black with bap lariat ultimate 6.7HO no moonroof. The gray headliner would be disgusting considering i purposely chose everything black. Yikes
My 2021 BAP has a tan-greyish headliner and A/B/C pillar trim with black interior. Personally I like it, but if it was truly grey I could see that looking strange against the black interior.
I could see how this looks grey in the photos but if it's the same material as the earlier trucks it's more of a tan grey.
Not sure who told you they got rid of the phone dial wheels on BAP. Every video I’ve seen has them.
Last I checked the phone dial wheels were nowhere to be found on the Ford configurator once BAP was added as an option on there. Not sure I guess we'll see when the BAP trucks start hitting the streets what they really show up with.

I don't think their issue has to do with what kind of grey it is, the issue they have is that the headliner is not black like it was for 2022.
There are a few photos of a members red 2023 Lariat in this thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...es-only-8.html
It looks to have black B and C pillars with the lighter grayish color on the A pillars and headliner. (It is a Super Cab though)
