Failure rate?

Failure rate?
Yesterday when I put my truck up on the rack I noticed a couple distubing finds.
1. I have a slow leak from my front seal.
2. My differential has a slow leak as well. It took 2 quarts of gear oil to get it up to the plug level!
My question is this: With the truck being an 03 at 37K has anyone else run into these problems so early into it's life?

Ya know, I noticed the same thing about my front seal:confused. I noticed oil on the steering linkage. Wiped it clean and fortunately I not seen it again. But that was only 2,000 miles ago that I found it.
I also had just switched to synthetic, so maybe that was it. No clue. I am keeping an eye on it.
