Hope someone can help me. I was just wondering if it was possible to program the Aux. Idle Controller to idle at an increased rpm that's lower than 1300? Mine seems to want to default to 1300 and that's as low as it will go when I want to warm it up in the morning. I realize that 1300 is probably a factory preset designed to maximize lubrication to the turbo bearing.........but at 5:00am in the morning, my neighbors tend to take exception to that rule (my 97 powerstroke isn't exactly at it's quietest when it's warming up for a half hour each morning at 1300 rpm.....especially on some mornings where it may reach -35 degrees up here in Canada). I probably wouldn't want to go any lower than 1000rpm (at that rpm, the the ole girl sounds a little more civilized.....and is probably still enough to lubricate the turbo bearing as opposed to a regular idle at approx. 600rpm). I was once told that I shouldn't let it idle at a regular idle for more than 10 minutes. Is that good advice? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It all makes sense now...I don't have a "PTO" button on mine....I guess I'm sh_t out of luck!. I see there are aftermarket units that use a switch and potentiometer to dial up the RPM. I may have to look into purchasing and installing one of them. Thanks for the info!!

That's strange, I didn't know they made different versions of it. Mine doesn't have the "power" button, instead it's the "PTO". Must be a year specific thing, mine is a '95.
