How do I get the limiter disabled?
I AM in Germany, and my new Ranger just arrived...and yup, I hit 90 mph, and the silly thing starts cutting out.
Now, here in Germany, 130 km, or 90 mph, is about the same as doing 55 in the fast lane on the highway in the US. Pitiful showing for an American made vehicle.
Any way to have Ford hop up the speed limit, or is there another option?

Your 4x4 tires would be dangerous above that speed.
Also your high profile narrow truck has bad handling.
If you still feel the need to kill yourself

You can disable the limiter with a chip.
I would suggest at the least a Shock upgrade to something like edelbrock performer IAS, and a tire upgrade to something thats higher speed rated.

Thanks for the tire info, too....just chased down some T rated tires withan agressive tread pattern. I only need to speed on the open road, not gonna do that crap in this mountainous stuff here....
The better the speed rating.. basically the better the tire handles at higher speeds.. less ballooning(sp?) etc.
Not much difference between S and T
Although if your tires were worn out.. obiviously T is a bit better
