I have a 94 F53 Motorhome with a 460. I have a dead fuel injector. I'm going to replace all of them. Any tips, tricks, cautions, or suggestions? Any need for the special quick disconnect tool called out in the shop manual? All the different injectors I'm finding at different parts suppliers have part numbers that are within 2 or 3 numbers of each other, but they all say they fit my year engine. Is this important? Some injectors are $30, some are $100. How big a deal is this?
Just replace the one that it needs, and get a few from the junkyard
I left the dealer in 2000 and have not replaced one with a new part since
I test with used and let the customer decide
Few and far between failures anyway, and the good used ones last damn near forever like all the others
Now if it is 99 or newer with the cheap plastic tube style, replace them all with Motorcraft
Your 94 with Ford / Bosch injectors are not those ones
