Separating Rear Turn Signal function
Trying to figure out how to do this. I can't find this guys contact information and looking at the wiring diagram, looks like everything becomes a single wire from the turn signal stalk to the tail lights with the output from the brake light switch also going thru the turn signal stalk. Does anyone have any information on how I can separate the turn signal function from the brake/tail light function? I obtained the AUS/MEX taillights 2 years ago but have been focused on getting my engine running right which I was finally able to achieve that goal, after 2 years of trial and error, this past Saturday.

That is a very intriguing idea. What about just completely re-wiring the taillights from the wiring going to the trailer wiring harness? The guy on the video said it took me 6 hours and I am sure it would be simpler to do it from the Trailer.
