First time Ford owner
Owned GM most of my life but I needed (more like "could justify") an Excursion. So I've embarked on a journey with a new to me 04 Ex 6.0. Which is also my first diesel. I thought I was a decent backyard mechanic, but I have been sufficiently humbled. Despite the (significant) learning curve, expense, oil leaks, rust, and crying at the pump; Bertha is a permanent member of the family. Took less than a month for the wife to start calling her my new girlfriend. Working to make her a Swiss army knife; an overland rig, that can tow my 26ft travel trailer, can pick up plywood sheets in the rain and lock them overnight, and, of course, move people and their stuff.
