I have a 2000 Ex Limited V10 that has been family owned since new. 117K Miles on it.
I picked up a set of the 2004 F250 18" Wheels from a Lariat truck. Mounted a new set of Michelins and then put them on the Excursion and re-used my original center caps but to me it looks "off". Is there a different center cap that people have used with these wheels that matches a bit better? I know the Harley rims are a bit more polished than these and look okay with the factory caps.
I have been trying to find some pictures of what center caps should be on them but have not had much luck. Pic attached of the wheels on my ex.
The Harley and Lariat wheels have the same “polish”, I’ve had sets of each side by side. The Lariat wheels came with those chrome center caps, they didn’t have the special caps like the Harley ones had. The King Ranch version might have had the same standard caps but with the KR logo, but I’m not positive on the logo feature. The SVT version of these OEM ‘04 18” wheels had a dog dish looking center cap.
I have the same wheels...except the KR version...with the standard caps on the Excursion. The KR lug caps with the KR insert logo are painted the same beige color as the wheel pockets. I also have the XLT version of these wheels going on my F350 that I will put a set of Limited caps on them. They look good to me because the center black Limited logo matches the front 4x4 lockouts being black...plus the block style lug covers go better with the lines of the truck. I do think the original common caps look better on a 2wd...like our Excursion...as they tend to blend in and not noticed so much...

Thanks everyone for the affirmation and the pics. Guess it might just be me. I do like the more boxy looking Limited caps in this post. I might keep an eye out for some that are not an outrageous price.

Thank You!
I've got four of the limited center caps literally collecting dust on a shelf in the garage. Came off my 2005 limited that I put aftermarket wheels on. They're for a 4x4 so the front two are open, if yours is a 2wd it'd look goofy but work. PM me if interested.

I am definitely interested! I will send you a DM!.
I’ve got the HD wheels and OE center caps on mine. I really like the look, but these 18s are HEAVY! Weighed the 16” alloy wheels in at 17#, where the 18” HDs are 31# each! That, plus my 34” tire you’re looking at 97# per wheel…the brakes definitely feel it.
I really liked the looks of the 2005-2010 5C34-1AO96-PD and RC. Bought them and found out quickly that the rear hub sticks out too far to get the rears on.
Found an extra set of 2004 Harley wheels in the process if anyone else is looking for them.
