Engine Cackle
I have read the threads on this and I wonder, since I am new to diesel engines. Mine when it is cold is, in my opinion really loud.
I this normal? As I drive away I can lean on it just enough to spool the turbo the noise all but goes away. Almost silent. Of course as the engine warms it gets to be less (cackle) if you will. Am I really hearing this noise or is it just the normal sound of the 7.3. It is also not so bad if I return the tune back to stock.
