1957 C750 decode

I will give you your own thread for this truck.
C75 = C750, 23,000 lbs GVWR
N = 302 4V Lincoln derived Y-block, 172 certified net HP @ 3600 RPM (see link below)
7 = 1957
U = Louisville Assembly Plant
44032 = serial number
099 = 99 inch wheelbase
R = I do not have complete paint codes. Red would make sense if that paint looks original.
09 H = 9th day of the 8th month--August 9 1956 producation date. (H is August for the first calendar year of production, 1956. V is for the second year--1957)
H = Clark model 250V OR New Process model 540 five speed direct transmission
34 = Two speed rear axle, 6.50 / 9.04 ratios. Maker (almost certainly Eaton) , model and capacity are not shown. Figure at least 15,000 lbs.
No front axle code. Note this was a special order truck, so front axle may have been part of that. There are numbers on those axles. (Code might be covered by non-OEM screw head)

2176 = Special Order Number--actually just a sequential number given to orders.
There are no Marti or Ford reports or records for these.
The warranty plate is held on by screws. As OEM they used "tamper proof" rivets. If someone changed the door, they at least brought the plate along to the new one. Or they took it off to paint or...or...or...
Make sure the title matches the VIN on the plate and you should be OK.
The Lincoln Y is tough to get parts for.
