I have been towing a 4500# or so camping trailer, but not a lot of miles so far. It would have been more with a Ranger, but the previous one was totaled in an accident. However, my brother has been towing extensively at max towing weight (or more) with his 2019. I suspect most of the 48K miles on his truck are towing. No problems so far. I have to believe the entire drive train is quite robust and reliable. Maybe others will chime in.

Idk yet about longevity : but their isn’t another truck out there with 4 OR 6cyl that makes this kind of TORQUE @ 1200-1800rpm range 
You don’t have to rev it 5k + rpm’s on steep hills with heavy loads.
