Hello all, I’ve searched through and haven’t found anything so my apologies if it’s been covered already….I have a 77 f150 with the neutral switch in the steering column. There are four wires coming off of the switch but the other connector end has 6 wires coming off. I am rewiring my whole truck since it was butchered and am having trouble figuring out where the six wires go to. If anyone knows or has a diagram that explains that would be greatly appreciated. I will attach a picture of the connector so you can see the wires and their colors. Thanks in advance.
Two Black/Red wires make the circuit for back up lights when in reverse. One goes to the rear of the bed to back up light bulbs that are grounded back there, the other gathers juice through a 15 amp fuse. My guess is the bare terminal one is to the back up lamps, so the 15 amp one doesn't accidently get shorted if unplugged for switch replacement.
Two Red/Blue wires make the circuit for neutral safety in Park and Neutral to enable the trigger current from ignition switch to start solenoid out on the fender apron. The "Siamese paired" Red/Blue wire paired with the other Red/Blue on far left of your picture goes to the ignition module in this diagram.
The white wire with dark tracer .... I don't know. That plug is near the NSS over the steering column, it's the chassis half of the connector.
