Persistent "Door Ajar"

A short time(2months) ago my "door ajar" light came on when all the doors were indeed closed. I finally narrowed the problem down to the back barn door switches, and simply removed them, and my problem was fixed. I had the dealer replace a door switch for the same problem while I was under warranty. I was wondering if anyone could help me this time because it would slay me to have to go to the dealer and probably pay plenty. Thanks in advance, Mark I am currently driving it with the fuse pulled for the running lights, and windows to avoid the dead battery.:-)

Have you tried liberally spraying WD-40 in the latches? It is the "fix" for the door latches.

Yes, I agree, it worked wonderfully on my f-150. Use the red tip and stick it into the door jam (sp.) and spray. Should solve.
