I have a sqeak/whistle noise that happens when driving my truck. It happens when shifting but only when I've been driving for a bit. I'm guessing that's because of heat. It sounds like a cop siren and lasts a second or two then stops. It feels like it's coming from under the cab but not positive on that. I asked about this on the forum before and it was suggested I check the Carrier bearing but my truck doesn't have one. The drive shaft/transmission spot does leak and seems to be slowly leaking more over time. Not sure if that's where my problem lies but that's all I can see as a visual possibility when I look under the truck. I've posted a couple of pics of that leak spot. The truck is a '64 with 4 on the floor. Any help in pinpointing this issue would be greatly appreciated!
Best guess would be the throwout bearing for the clutch. Does it make the noise sitting still, pushing the clutch, or does the truck have to be rolling?
The noise happens when I push the clutch in to change gears only at higher speeds but definitely more when i've been driving for a while. A quick little drive and i wont hear it but if i drive for 20-30 minutes, it'll start happening and get more frequent

Yep, 2X ^^ what DanTK said.
Parts expense low, but is a labor intense task......since the transmission will need to be removed. Once the transmission is dropped, it will be an excellent time to assess the condition of your clutch disc, pressure plate, and flywheel.
If you have a pilot bearing it might also be making some noise. Pilot bushings less so but I have run into extremely worn bushings that are loose in the crankshaft bore and would spin independent of the crankshaft. So if you do pull it apart keep that in mind.
