69 F100 Value

Good morning everyone,

Can anyone ball park me on a fair price for a 69 F100. I am sorry but dont know a lot of details yet, as my brother is going to look at it this weekend.
So far all I have is one picture that really dont show a lot of details, except for color.
What I do know so far is that its Red, and appears to not have outer body rust. Also its has the original full wheel covers, and its not a Ranger, but does have the center trim on the bed, and the aluminum grill.
Also has a 302 engine, but we dont know what trans. Story goes that the owner bought it in 1979, form the original owner, and its been a farm truck, since then.
I know its been sitting, but not sure how long. It is not in derivable condition.
Just wondering what the ball park value is?

Thanks so much.

Not seeing it, been used on a farm and sitting for some time, thinking under $1000 and maybe more like $500 but I am cheap.

FYI My 81 F100 flare side was also used on a farm for who knows how long but did run. It had a 300 six & granny 4sp, 4x2 truck
First look it had wrong radiator, brake master was empty on 1 side, someone painted it in flat black and not a good job and the inside was trashed.
Front end had frozen kingpins, bed had wrong supports and wood. I paid $800 7 years ago and that was too much.
I found a lot more wrong when home, it took 4 years to do a cab off rebuild and I did all the work myself.

So take that with a grain of salt on what you may be getting into.

ps it had a title and you need it in NC to get plates

there is an old saying: Location, Location, Location!!! Where are you located, and where is the truck located? It will make a difference in price by location. A SW location vs the Salt-Rust Belt for example.

good evening everyone..
I appreciate your responses, and I have an update regarding the truck that i asked about.
Brother went and looked at the truck today, and reports that the truck is pretty rusty, and is pretty much in need of about everything.
Seller wants $6,000 for it, and so far at least we know that it needs the Auto trans rebuilt, and of course all of the usual things that sitting for a decade have consumed.
He says the guy is a super nice guy, but he is going to pass it up. From the sound of it, I would think its probably an over priced money pit.
