This one was a near unprecedented killer. Early video makes it look like a meat grinder just rolled across the state. for 177 miles.
I dread seeing the daylight pictures. I don't think Rolling Fork will be rebuilt.
If this had gone across more populated areas, the results would be unimaginable.
Pray hard for these people.

On channel 3's FB page is a canceled check from Rolling Fork Rotary Club found 133 miles away.

We got no rain overnight Friday nor any yesterday or last night in South Marion County. They had predicted 80% chance but didn't happen. On another note, prayers continuing for all the hurt and devastation in the Delta area. God bless, Steve

Thomas didn't fare so lucky. Rankin Co got off easy late afternoon but got drowned in the late overnight.

Be glad you missed out on the fun Steve. Clinton got hit pretty hard last night. Nothing like Rolling Fork thankfully. Lots of downed powerlines, trees and damaged houses. Unfortunately my roof took a hit too and I now have an indoor waterfall. Not as relaxing as one might think....
