They do shrink but what was left was delicious. Cheapest meat in the store last week. Hamburg was 8.99/lb, corned beef was 4.89. I bought 2.😁

Sorry for missing a couple a days but life happened! LOL
That is a beautiful sunrise except for the white sheet! Burrrrrrrrrrr!
Friday wife and I had some weekly shopping to do, pick up mail, lunch and a few other things. Then home to find her Nigerian Dwarf who is supposed to kid this week was in labor. WE were going to start on the barn to get ready Saturday, BUT we had to start Friday night. She had one kid in the morning and couldn't have the other kid! SO after several hours and phone calls, we made it to a Large Animal Veterinarian. It was a bittersweet day. We have Mom, a doe and buck. Unfortunately, we also lost one doe and buck! Back home by 1600, mom and kids settled in and finished a couple a things that still needed done made it a long day and a half! This morning all three are doing good and so are Grandma and Grandpa.

Good morning Bud, Rod and missing Jim and any other wanderers. Rod, been there with critters (horses) and always tough to loose a little one (or two). Church done and 55 degrees here in Florida so the natives are wearing winter clothes (and I'm in shorts and a short sleeve shirt).

Yesterday was a great day with Mom, Church, Celebrating the one year anniversary of the new Church building, Fellowship dinner after and singing after dinner!
Yes, Farm life is unfortunately that way but still sad. WE do have Mom and two kids doing great.
It is Officially Spring at 1726 today and this nasty cold season can leave.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and good start to the week.
