Help-- Check Engine Light....
Anyway today I spent about 5 hours doing the dreaded spark plug change (strictly preventive maintenance). Pain in the butt, pulling those COPs out from under the fuel rails. Would of been a 2 hour job, except that for that one COP bolt that fell down in the plug well (fortunately plug was still in, or I'm SOL)...
A few of those rear plugs are tight.Anyway.. I decided to start the car with every new plug, just to check it. I had several of the vacuum lines pulled out at the time... for those of you who have done this.. the 2 big lines forward of the throttle body...?
At the end of the job, the car started and ran as flawlessly as it did before I started, but now I have a check engine light...
I am guessing nothing is wrong, but could starting the car with the lines unplugged have thrown a code? Will I have to take the truck in to Ford to get the light cleared?
Thanks in Advance.

Yes, sometimes if you start the engine with hoses off it will turn on the check engine light. You should be able to clear it by disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so, or you can take it in and get it scanned and the codes cleared to turn it out.
