Identify Brakes

Just started looking at my brake setup. On a 1982 f600. Is this a hydro boost? It’s got an air vent into the cab.

Hydro vac. Vacuum boosted hydraulic brakes. Common to all brands. More tomorrow.

The boosters in these illustrations are similar to yours. You will have to inspect your unit for the manufacturer name and model number.

Do your brakes work? Does it hold a firm pedal? Any evidence of leaks on the back sides of the tires?

Well brakes were basically to the floor then lock up...no feather at all. Looked at the master cylinder yesterday...empty. So I got more fluid...not sure if there is a leak or what...I've seen 20 year old trucks and they never had empty Master Cylinders. Blizzard right now so probably not many more photos for a few days.
