It's beem stormin like Norman around here, so I locked myself in the cave, an worked on stuff for the Expedition.
Fist I worked on this badge to replace the ford emblem
Then wiped up a set of plug-in jumper cables.
Refurbished a headlight/aux lighting relay control harness that is plug and play on most any 9007 headlight system
I was still in busy beaver mode so I gathered up components for the aux power Distibution and amplified sections of the Audio upgrade After all that it was finally Miller time. :-).
The headlight harness didn't dress out the same as it did in a 08 crown vic (The Gray Ghost) Main power B+ was a little short, so I mounted the APD (aux pwr dist) circuit breaker close enough to use as a temporary power terminal until I make one specifically for the expedition. This was a prototype harness when built, and the relays were changed to a smaller package same 40 a rating for the final design, because they needed it to fit My bike also. Did have an issue during installation, the left headlight was verry dim on both Hi and Low Right one was bright. It had to be a ground issue and I went over them even the oem grounds. I heard union brake in the back of my head, (some habits never die) so I dropped what was in my hands, cut bait, and ran for the Beer Fridge an some Matt Dillon. My buddy came by wanting to talk bikes, so brake was over. I told him bout the ground issue, and when I started to esplane to Mikie about a road bike suspension system he wanted , I heard "what is this wire). Mikie, not only showed me my problem (tech error) He wants a high dollar road bike suspension system. WoHoo new project and Someone else pays the tab.
Another wonderful day in the neighborhood Mike/EZ
We have gone from one of the worst droughts in CA history, to historic flooding. We are above 110% of our yearly rain total already.
So many rainy days I'm running low on rainy day projects, but that is ok cuz I'm on strike today anyway LOL. The women keep bugging me with honey do's, I mean don'ts, and I'm on strike for several issues. I'm holding the picket line for a dishwasher, because our 30yr old dishwasher took a dump over 6 mo ago. I have been getting nothing but excuses about replacing it... Yesterday it was finally agreed to replace it, in a flash 3 estimates were on the table. Today they are dragging fee again., in desperation I called a total work stoppage except for dishwasher replacement. Now they are mad, I'm board with nothing to do and we still don't have a dishwasher Some Rainy Day Projects sure would be nice right now :-). Mike/EZ
