Heavy coolant loss PLEASE HELP
I have a 2004 ford f250 6.0 powerstoke, it has 219,000 miles and everything is original and the emissions equipment is still installed. I have a coolant loss. I have to put in a gallon of coolant every week and a half. There is no coolant present in the oil, it has no coolant leaks, and it is used as my work pickup and a drive everyday for long trips. It runs flawlessly but I know it’s has abnormal coolant loss, if anyone has any idea please let me know

I have a 5.4L 2002 F-250 (228,000 miles) with original engine too. My coolant loss is a diagnosed Head Gasket issue. I had a heavier loss in the cross over tube which is mounted to the Air Intake manifold. I changed that out and loss of coolant is significantly less but the Head Gasket still needs a fixin'. Check your tailpipe for that unmistakable sweet coolant smell.
