I just saw a Chevy commercial on Tv and dang, the Super Duty for 23 is a poor copy of the Chevy. Wow, how low can you get? That is embarrassing. (Not to mention ugly)
Fact is though folks will just except it especially if they believe it's a better product even if it's fugly. After awhile they seem to grow on you. In 99 there was a lot of haters to the new design and look were we are now 20+ years later.

Accept it yes, but im sure most of us that were around for the pre 99 bodies would still prefer the OBS style over anything offered since.

I liked my 88 and 95 more for the simplicity than all this new nanny crap, but these newer trucks are much better for ride quality and carrying/ towing loads.
As much as we like to think of the past the present is here slapping us in the face. The days of walking to school up hill in both directions wearing a used pair of broken off high heel shoes are over unless you chose punishment.
I might have one more truck in me after this '21' time will tell but I do believe that Ford makes a better heavier duty 'work' truck and I chose that over looks, everytime.
BETTER THE DEVIL YOU KNOW THAN THE DEVIL YOU DON'T. JMHO
The front grill is hideous, but I cover all of my trucks with a bumper replacement brush guard, so I can hide it for the most part. But the dash with the inverted air vents has to take the trophy.......it looks like a the grill on a 70's Dodge Charger. And lastly, what is the necessity to follow a competitor with a stupid bed step? Most of us already know how to get into a toolbox on a truck.
I have one coming, because it is definitely the lesser of all evils. But, I still look daily for a 2022 model.

My post was only pertaining to the actual exterior styling as its very evident the truck generations of post 98 are in performance and feature a better truck. Personally I always liked the Dodge Ram styling the best for the years after all three manufacturers did away with the square bodies, but Ford made the better truck overall so I stuck with them. Never one to purchase for looks over functionality/reliability.
2022 F-250 7.3L Godzilla owner here (w/ LED head lights, Black Appearance Package). I like the '23 interior. Looks good to me. BUT that front end, long fender badge and 'Black Appearance Package' wheels (look like Lego Gears) not so much. As a 2022 owner, I'm happy the '23 didn't make the 20-22 models look outdated. I'm sure it will grow on me. BUT to be honest, if I had to replace my '22, the design of the '23 is bad enough I'd at least go look at the Chevrolet / GMC 2500 with the 6.6L L8T & 10 spd. I couldn't say that when comparing the 2022 Ford vs 2022 GM HD trucks. I'd probably stick with Ford though. Ford trucks have always been good to me.
As bad as the front end looks, I actually think the interior looks worse. Not a fan of the new interior door panels and definitely not a fan of the single binnacle dash. Bulbous front end, bulbous dash. Guess that's the look these days.
