7.5L 460 blocks
I have a '89 F-250 EFI 460 with a pretty serious blown head gasket or cracked block. I have a '86 Carb 460 that I was in the middle of rebuilding, my question is what parts between the Carb and EFI 460's are completely interchangable?

The EFI just uses different heads, intake and the timing chain is a non retarded timing chain or "straight up". The 86 will have a retarded timing chain for emissions purposes.
If your head is junk you would need a new EFI head or you could switch to carb by keeping the carb heads and intake.
