Howdy All,
I've made a little more progress on the engine rebuild. Got the crankshaft and the flywheel back from the machine shop. They went .20 under on the main journals and .10 under on the rods. I have the block disassembled and ready to go this week. Working on the heads now. I pulled the valves out of the head to see what condition the seats look like. There are pressed in seats in the head already. This is my first engine rebuild so I bear with me. Did the heads come with inserts pressed in for seats ? Are those needing to be cut out and hardened ones put in place ? Or are these already the hardened ones ?
