[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Jan-03 AT 10:54 AM (EST)] Just bought an 02 PSD have put 2800 miles on it and want to do something about it's ride before it tears the suspension up.
1. Bounces(porpoises front to back.) a lot on dips at highway speed
2. Front end shimmy
3. Rolls from corner to corner.
I just recently purchased the Hellwig anti-sway bar, haven't had time to put it on yet. Lots of info already posted on its benefits to correct problems you mentioned. I got mine from JC Whitney for 139.00 shipped to the house. Next, You may want to try new shocks. The Rancho 9000RX? seem to be the most popular but there are other good choices too. Last, check to see if any bushings in the front are worn or loose. If so, replace. Good luck and keep reading and posting.

U-code springs and a quality set of shocks. Rancho's, Bilstiens etc. etc. search the threads for some ideas on what others are using. I use Rancho 9000's (5-position adjustable)
> 2. Front end shimmy
I would have this checked out. Could be a result of your apparently worn shocks (2800 miles, though???) or something else. Too many things too list...well...unless you want me to.

Get a Hellwig bar soon! It'll eliminate your body roll. It is a must have to any Excursion onwer, if you ask me...
Will the U-code springs ride firm like a SuperDuty? Or will it ride in the middle of a stock EX and a SuperDuty? I'm guessing that all (4) springs get replaced?
