Headliner Trim
I purchased the chrome headliner trim from DC and it came in last night in an LMC box! Man I wish I had known I could have saved $54.64. Maybe this will save one of you from my mistake. Anyone else had this issue?

DC makes a lot of the stuff the vendors sell. but DC also sells generic products everyone else sells. it's kind of a case-by-case thing you really don't know unless you research it, and even then it's not always a sure thing.

Sorry to hear that. Maybe a phone call up front and a question about where their parts come from would of saved you $54.64. I sure hope you did not get the LMC low quality parts with the expectation of DC quality parts. Thanks for the warning to ask them.

Hmm.. ok good to know, I have parts catalogs from each that I stare at daily. Appreciate the heads up DC can have better quality!

DC is normally on the top of the list with their In house repop parts. I never figured that they would get/use and sell LMC made parts. Good to know that is a possibility.

I prefer DC but have purchased many parts from other vendors and really have no complaints about the quality of those either. One more vendor:

I'd return the parts and order from LMC just on principal, especially if i thought i was gonna get a higher quality part. F all these middle-man, drop ship companies that take money for doing nothing but processing an order.
