Speedo correction

Drove my 2000 v10 4x4 from Orange County to Las Vegas today. Duplicate route has been done by my other cars many times with nav systems and speedo at 300 miles. Truck says 285. Tall tires. any way to fix this?

BTW I have changed to Koni shocks all around as the rears were recently made available. With the k2 ta’s and the Konis the big empty heavy truck rode really well. stiff but not jarring.

cruise on at 80mph all the way 2750 rpm roughly. 11.4 mpg on overhead gauge. Obviously off the same percentage as the speedo. so 80 was really 84?

Big old road dog. Truck has 4:30’s in it oem. Works well with the tall 305 ta’s. Stock mags.

really liked the 84 mph actual long freeway run today. Had forgotten how well this 4x4 actually drives at high speeds. yes I know it gets way better gas mileage slower. So?

Forscan, some aftermarket tuners or a dealer job are your options.

The dealer cut me a deal when I did mine years ago since I bought the tires from them. From what I remember, have them use the revs per mile input. It is the most accurate and you can get that off Tirerack.com.
