Swap Options

I plan on eventually swapping out the 351W in my 93 F-250 with another 351W. But what are the swap options in this truck? I currently have a 5 speed manual transmission that was just rebuilt so I want something thats going to bolt up to it.

If you are going 351 to 351 what kinda swap options you looking for? Maybe I don't get the question.

Yeah I didnt word that as well as I should have. I was just what motors would swap into this truck without having to get a new tranny. If nothing else I will stick with the 351.

well the f-250 was available with your transmission for the 300 (4.9L), 302 (5.0L), 351w (5.8L) and the mighty 460 (7.5L). any of those should work just fine.

He listed the engines well, but the tranny bolt patterns will be different. You have more options if it is a manual since you can swap the housings, auto's you are limited as to what you can get. Get the measurements from bolts. If you want call Advance Adapters and speak with them, they make conversions for just about everything under the sun.
