Has anyone done or know what will happen if I contact my dealer and change my order? I ordered a 23 F250 CCLB Lariat on 9 Dec. Haven't heard anything from dealer. In the ford chat they say contact dealer. My dealer is OK but lost outside selling the product. Im wondering if I change a few things in the order 1. Will it effect the build date( I have no idea if it even scheduled yet. and 2.will it effect my 2k coupon I had and my price protection?

If you are currently a J1 build and you are adding items that are J2 builds, then that will definitely push your order back to the J2 time frame. However, there is no guarantee that your J1 will be built before J2’s start, and it’s always a possibility that an order will never get built.
As far as pricing, I made several changes to my 22 order. None of them affected the base model pricing. However, if you delete something, your price will go down. If you add something, the price will go up. It’s the base price that you need to keep your eye on.
Also, if it’s small stuff, it won’t change your order number, which won’t affect your “place” in line. Although… that’s not really something you can count on anyway…
As for coupons, that’s not real cut and dry either. Some have gotten their dealers to “lock” them to their order while others haven’t. If you fit in the timelines detailed in the offer, it should work no matter what, it’s when your order takes longer than the dates in the offer that things get confusing.
Either way, if you have decided you want your truck a different way, I would change it. If you still don’t have a VIN you’re golden. If you do have a VIN already, then that’s harder to deal with. You can still make changes but they have to go up the line to get them done, and it could be too late.

Unless you already have a job 2 option on your order, BAP is job 2 and would set your order back some.
I changed my color choice on Jan 11, and on Jan 12th received email with build week, and they had the color correct.

This. I changed mine before VIN and truck was delivered 3 weeks before they said it would back in 2017.
I have 2 f250s. I hate the fact one does not have the upfitter switches. And no exhaust break. The upfitter switches are so easy to tap into and set up auxiliary items.
