I believe you are looking for part 1HC-9775-A which is actually a 47 inch long section cut from B9TF-9775-C. Unfortunately, those are obsolete part numbers. It seems our parts suppliers have these options:
thanks for replying guys, i need the accelerator cable from the foot pedal to carb. not sure but the one you sent from carpenter bmoran4 is for the throttle also.
al meyer
If you are talking about the connection between the accelerator pedal on the floor and the carburetor, it is NOT a cable, but an assembly of rods/levers. The hand throttle on the dash (if equipped) IS a cable very similar to the dash choke control and referenced in my prior post.
These trucks didn't have an accelerator cable from the pedal to the carb. It uses a mechanical linkage with rods and joints that goes through the floor, across the firewall and then forward to the carb. Sorry I don't have a picture handy.
where it comes into the cab under the pedal it has a spring with the **** on top that hooks to the pedal. it broke off right there. if you push on the part that is still there it still works the linkage for the carb. i have not gotten into it yet to see if that is separate from the linkage you talked about. in the diagram you sent it looks like it is part 9760
thx al
