2nd, Talley , with all of his hundreds of mod and running twin nitrous tanks in his single cab manual trans is only running 14.1

So you'll need ALOT of mod and Mucho Deniero to get your truck into the 13's. I don't even think its possible unless your SuperMechanic.

And yes, my supercab with all of its options (fully loaded) weighs almost 1,000 more pounds than your base single cab.

Plus, without a shift kit and stall converter for our Automatic tranny's, we're losing alot of rear wheel horsepower compared to your 1 to 1 ratio manual tranny's.

However, once the shift kit and stall converter are in, you can never never never never never never never never never...not even God can, shift your manual trans faster than the shift kit will shift my auto trans. Which is why ALL pro dragsters are automatics.

Shift kit and stall converter and, other than the added weight of my truck, i'm smearing your manual tranny guys all over the track. And that's the fact jack.

 

I know you were joking, I was too. Not a big deal, but I do like Tulips. I agree with you that no mortal man can outshift the right shiftkit. The point I want to make is an easy one. How crappy is the every day drive going to be in your auto is slamming into second EVERY time it shifts. I dont disagree with you at all, aside from the God thing...Apparently he can do some crazy things

But like what you said about my SC, I have to see it to believe it. You also said you wouldnt spend any money for 6 months. So right now, you arent doing ANYTHING but getting beat in the 1/4 mile. Or did you change your mind? I still think you think Im a regularcab 5 spd. Im not, I have the same truck as you but a manual.

I understand Talley has all kinds of stuff on his truck and posting a 14.1, but I was sure he broke the 13's. I didnt mean to suggest that if Jimmy installed NOS Supercharged his truck, and got a custom chip he would hit 13's. But you cant say he wouldnt either. Last I checked, Talley didnt have any kind of forced induction, he was getting that low from NOS.

I dont mean to strike any nerves Tom, I respect your posts, I really do. I just like to have fun around here...lotta crappy things going on in my life at the moment, and aside from your guys friendship, my truck and supercharger itself, its all I got.

I really do enjoy seeing what you guys say, and feel like you are becoming good friends. I wouldnt loan you any money yet ( LoL ) but I do value your opinions and friendship.

roger that! I have a pretty bad fear of hights to boot, but I think I have an even greater urge to scare myself half to death. I don't remember how many feet it was from, but it was at our local dealership 1 year. Some kind of fund raiser thing.
