Your truck is locked up all winter and all you both want to do is go for a ride. My wife loves the fact that my wheels and tires are inside so they don’t crack in the cold. It’s February 1st in Indiana so I figure I’ve got about 30 days left before it’s safe to put the wheels back on and who know how long before all the salt is off the roads. All I know is I’m ready to go for a ride.
Nice ride! I dont blame you for parking it during the long salty winter, that you all have.
We have some snow and ice here is eastern Kansas, as well, and they salt and sand the roads, before the first two snow fakes tough together.
I do drive my old stuff some during the winter, as long as the roads are dry. I don' t even drive them in the rain, so snow is for sure out of the question.
Same deal here on Ohio! Sadly, we're probably at least 2 months away from the salt threat in this area. They must have a good stockpile of it cause they have no problem spreading it thick if just the hint of bad weather.

There is only two seasons in Ohio when I was growing up there....Winter and (Road) Construction. _ Tony
It's hard to find the space sometimes but I make sure to set aside a spot to keep my rigs stored away safely in the winter too
In all reality your stuff is way nicer than mine but my 77 is in the carport right now, only because the windshield leaks and I don't want the cab all full of water.

Dont be hatting but after I use the truck to do the weekly trash run a group of us from the car club are going to a Cars & Coffee for a bit.
Right now it is 25*f but they say going to get into low 40's
Last Saturday after trash run I took the truck to dinner that was for our car club helping out at a show last fall.
We dont get much snow and when we do they shut the state down, no equipment so no salt, so nothing goes out.
If it is raining I will not take the truck out or to work if I can help it but use it as much as I can.
