gen 3 coyote install
Does any know if a gen 3 coyote with a 10r80 transmission. It is a 71 f100 short bed, 2wd, automatic. Will I have to cut my low tunnel out? what parts will I need? Anyone have a list made up? I have installed a QA1 suspension set up front and rear.

Check out Power by the Hour. They have a lot of the parts needed for the swap.

6r80 fits in a auto tunnel with no problem. I don't think the 10r is much different in physical dimensions.

Biggie is getting engine in proper location but yes the 10R80 will fit without cutting the firewall or tunnel.
