I haven't been on regularly like I used to. I logged on and see there are new (to me) titles under our user names. When did these start and is there any list that breaks down what they mean? Thanks!
They are silly, random and have no meaning at all. There is no hierarchy that you can earn "higher rank." This is the only forum where I have seen such a thing.
I guess they are just meant to be fun. If you don't like your title, wait. It will change.

If this is available to be changed somewhere in User CP, I'd love to see where. As far as I know, this is set up by admins on pretty much all IB forums. They change based on post count.
The member titles can only be customized by Premium Members.
Otherwise, members have standard, predefined, titles that are based on post count.
That's what I thought as I didn't see an option. I just wondered what "Laughing Gas" meant. I figured it was related to post count but it didn't correlate to any number for me. Which is fine, I was just curious.

Laughing Gas starts at 750 post count. More Turbo, which was your previous user title, was set at 500.
The user titles, originally, were universal to the software and things like Junior and Senior member. The new one were added a while back to giver more levels, something more auto-related, and less boring.
