While cycling through the menus on the dash I came upon the temperature screen and I'm curious why it shows the oil temperature with a negative. Is monitoring oil temp an option on a higher trim level?
Hey, at least it isn't an "ID 10 T" error. As suggested above, sounds like a sensor or wiring fault. On my LiFePO4 battery, the BMS will display a temperature of something like -40°F when the sensor isn't plugged in. So that's why I mention the wiring.
I did have a DEF injector error last year and it was resolved by the dealership with a programming update.
The thread I posted above tells me that gas engine Super Duty's, like the OP has, may not have an oil temp sensor. It sounds like most gas Duty's come with that oil temp view disabled.
