What he said. On my fifth set. Make sure it is the E rated version. My pressures are around 60 psi, so with the higher pressure, you will get better gas mileage.

LTX MS Michelin Defender
LT285/75/16 (slightly larger than stock size on stock 4x4 suspension, no issues)
On my 4th set (averaging 80k per set) Still not on the wear bars.
Before changing to Michelin MS LTX I have run:
Firestone (oem recalled by Ford)
Pirelli
Yokahama
Nitto
All of the above had to be replaced between 30-40 K and did not hold balance well or wear well. Nitto lasted the longest at 44k and developed a large bubble on the sidewall. Also did not retain balance or wear well.
I have never before used Michelin truck tires. Seemed too expensive. But I found out that they are the least expensive AND best in the long run!
