Yeah, I love mine for sure. Yours looks great.
Looks like there’s a truck missing underneath it though!
We had a discussion a year or two ago about this. Discussing the differences between the less expensive vinyl ones and the more expensive leather ones.
Were you involved in that discussion?
I wasn’t part of the discussion but was following and was why I decided on the Wheelskins cover, definitely more $$ but was the look and feel I wanted.
Is that a padded cover? It looks thick. I put a leather cover on a car years ago that was thinner leather, but it was like shrink wrap over the wheel once it was tight and you couldn't tell it was a cover.
I'm curious now too, now that you've asked.
Seems to me the first one I bought way back when was about $15 or so, and the last one I bought (almost way back when now too!) was about $30-ish?
They seemed expensive compared to the cheap vinyl ones (about $7 to $15) but not way out of line for the type of product it was. Heck, if I was willing to buy them, they could not have been too high priced.
I've always been a bit on the cheap side except where something really mattered.
I bet they're closer to $50 or so now.
I'd better start keeping mine up. Some leather conditioner seems called for about now...
Maybe I do too, but more likely I think careful and consistent is simply the key. And it's going to take an hour at least to get there.
Well worth the time.
No, I had to measure the Diameter of wheel and circumference of the grip at the high point of the finger grip. It’s under the “ measure” tab as a special order, it costs the same, mine was 15-1/2” x 3-1/4”.
