Can anyone tell me the thickness of the bed wood for 53/55 bed and also the width. Thank You.

¾" × 5½

There is a diagram floating around here somewhere that shows in detail the dimensions of the board cuts and routing.

3/4” x 5 3/4” type in 55 f100 bed wood dimensions and all the info is there.
