There is a threaded hole in the engine block below the alternator on a 352, but as long as it is bolted securely to the block, the exact location is not critical unless you are doing an exact restoration.
Jigsaw is correct, exactly where doesn't really matter, unless it's an AACA Show Caliber Restortation. What does matter is good conductivity, clean connections, snug fasteners, etc.
Also best to have frame & body all grounded also, by having ground straps, cables or wires linking all 3 together as a common ground. Everything works better, lights, guages, heater motor, alternator/ Generator, Voltage Reg, everything!
